ISLANDS & PORTS

Our Journey to the Ionian Islands starts from beautiful and picturesque Corfu, an island full of green, magical deaches and her characteristic old town with the two ancient historical castles and old palaces not forgetting the Liston square (the largestin the Balkans). Another historical site is the Palace of Princess Sissy in Achilleon and its fantastic museum.
Of course the history never ends in Corfu but lets begin our journey through the seas.
Starting the sea route we can stop and enjoy a swim in many of the natural bays ending up in the fishing port of Benitses and Petritis. Continuing our course South we meet up with the island of Paxos with its two graphical natural harbors of Gaios and Lakka.Further South is the Island of Antipaxos with its blue green exotically tempting beaches.If it’s a one-week holiday we can set our course East to the port and graphical village of Parga. Returning northwards we can stop for a swim in one of the many secluded beaches we will find on our way and moor up in Mourtos.
From there and coming to the end of an enjoyable seven-day holiday we return to our base of Corfu Marina Gouvia
If we have a longer holiday time, continuing South after Antipaxos we will meet Lefkada, pass through the bridge which connects the island to the mainland and arrive in the Port and Marina of the town. Further South still on Lefkada we meet Nidri and the fishing village of Sivota Lefkada. From there, we can visit a group of small islands with first stop on Scorpios Athina Onasis island and following the islands of Meganisi, Kalamos, Kastos and many smaller islands. Or, from Sivota Lefkada we can set course to cosmopolitan Fiskardo on the island of Kefalonia and pass across to the historical island of Ithaka with its beautiful beaches.

As for your return………after visiting all these places we leave it up to you.

Corfu

An island rich in green and beautiful beaches,
Were lies the old town with its two famous historical Castles and traditional buildings, as well as the historical square of Liston.
The Palace of Sissy in Achilleon Is one more of the many historical sites in Corfu.

Mourtos – Syvota

Municipality of Syvota, with a population of 2.627 residents, occupies the plain and hilly regions around the bays of Plataria and Syvota.
The two small with lush greenery islands at the entrance of the bay of Mourtos – named after the pirate who had made it his base of operations – are considered, according to tradition, as the Syvota islands which are mentioned by the historian of the Peloponnisian war, Thucydides, in connection with the naval battle of 433 B.C. between the Korinthians and the Kerkyraioi, although more recent research considers that they are in a more northern location.

Paxos – Lakka & Loggos

Is situated on the North part of the island and offers good protection from bad weather if you are well inside the bay.
Up to 70 yachts have been counted anchored at one time with everyone enjoying the sea and fantastic beach

Paxos – Gaios & Antipaxos

Is one of the most beautiful natural ports in Greece. With a very well protected harbor and many visiting celebrities. This is where to come back to after swimming and sailing around the bays of Paxos.
The islands many tavernas offer fresh fish and other delicacies and you can relax with a drink in one of many of its different bars.

Parga

Is a distinctive traditional settlement built amphitheatrically. It is one of the most beautiful tourist towns in Greece. It stands out because of her Venetian Castle which surrounds the small island of Mother Mary.
Today it is the center of the Municipality of Parga.

Lefkas

Is and island which will win you over immediately.
Green waters, white sandy beaches, picturesque villages built strangely on the mountainsides will give you holiday a different color.All the beaches bring together the wild image of the cliff tops, which touch the sea with the sandy beaches spreading between them.

Lefkas – Sivota

Is a graphical little village situated in the depth of rich green bay called Omirika Sivota.
This protected bay looks like a small lake and has about 100 visiting residents. In the protected bay yachts can moor all year round. You will enjoy the cuisine in the villages’ restaurants and tavernas. You must try the local specialties savori, gardoubes and boiled shellfish.

Kefalonia – Fiskardo

In the North section of Kefalonia between the blue sky and sea you will meet the picturesque town of Fiskardo. The village is built by the waves and holds a small bay which looks upon Ithaka.
Yachts and motorboats anchor by its beach, which is full of life and laughter.

Ithaka – Vathi

Is situated on one of most historical islands and most natural ports of Greece, Ithaka. In the center of the port there is a small island called Lazareto, while on the left and right still remains the fort built by the French in 1807.

Kalamos

The island of Kalamos still keeps the beauty of pure hospitality, and traditional character.
Without being inundated by holidaymakers it has wonderful beaches and especially on the North side where the trees meet waves of the sea.

Kastos

With only three miles between Kastos and Kalamos this island keeps its traditional character completely unspoiled.
There are beaches on the East side where lies the small port of the island.
